How to get supervised visitation in Quebec?
In Québec, supervised visitation (or supervised access) is ordered when the court considers that a child’s safety or psychological well-being requires oversight during parental contact. Under C.c.Q. arts. 33, 604, and 611, judges decide based solely on the best interests of the child. Supervision can occur through a family services center or another approved third party. The measure is often temporary, reviewed once the parent demonstrates safe and appropriate behavior.
