“The single most dangerous period for a woman is at the breakdown of her relationship, and we don’t have enough services in Quebec.” In another of her regular appearances on the program, Me Goldwater speaks with Elias Makos about the wave of femicides that is gripping the province. With 14 femicides in seven months, 2021 is on pace to surpass the number in the previous year, when 21 women were killed in Quebec.
