Despite a Court of Appeal order prohibiting any deer cull, videos made public show a police officer firing at least 13 times at an injured deer in Longueuil. Me Goldwater denounced the incident, stating in an open letter, "We cannot accept that the City failed to implement reasonable measures to prevent this kind of situation."
