**Emma Ruscito** is an Articling Student at Goldwater Droit. She obtained her Bachelor of Civil Law from the Université du Québec à Montréal in 2025. Prior to pursuing her legal studies, she completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology, with a specialization in behavioural neuroscience from Concordia University.

Her academic background fostered a particular interest in the human dimensions of law and in the ways legal issues intersect with individual and family circumstances. During her legal studies, Emma was drawn to family law, particularly the protection of children and vulnerable individuals.

During her legal studies, she worked with a range of vulnerable populations through Pro-Bono Students Canada and the mobile legal clinic, gaining exposure to the practical realities faced by individuals navigating family, criminal, and immigration law. She similarly volunteered as a legal researcher at the McGill Legal Information Clinic, where she helped provide accessible legal information to members of the public.

Emma is fluent in both English and French.

Had she not chosen law, she would have pursued a career in developmental psychology, a field that reflects her enduring interest in the human side of the law.
