**Lukas G.-Dragon** is an Associate at Goldwater Droit, where his practice covers all aspects of civil and family law litigation. His particular focus is on high-conflict parenting disputes, a subject he studied during his LL.M.

Drawn to courtroom advocacy, his background includes the 2022 Gale Cup Moot, where he argued before Justices of the Supreme Court of Canada Richard Wagner, Suzanne Côté, and Michael Moldaver, and helped secure the Université de Montréal’s first Gale Cup victory in nearly two decades.

Alongside his legal training, he lectured in legal research and methodology at the Université de Montréal from 2022 to 2024 and delivered seminars at Canadian and international summer schools. He has contributed to the revision of major doctrinal works and writes on legal, political, and social issues for _Le Devoir_.

Lukas completed his LL.B. at the Université de Montréal in 2022 and his LL.M. in 2024, with a double specialization in criminal law and family law. His thesis examined parental negligence. His graduate work was supported by the André Savoie Scholarship, the Jean-Louis Baudouin Chair Scholarship, the Monique Ouellette Scholarship in Family Law, and master’s research and thesis-writing scholarships. He joined the Barreau du Québec in 2025 and is a member of the Association des avocats et avocates en droit familial du Québec (AAADFQ).

Lukas is fluent in French and English. He favours an empathic, dialogue-driven approach that places clients at the heart of every decision.

Had he not become a lawyer, he would have pursued a career as a clinical and research psychologist. Like courtroom advocacy, those fields sit at the intersection of human understanding and disciplined argument, requiring both empathy for those caught in conflict and the resolve to take a clear position.
